Addab Velusian - Backround on the Ironblood cycle
Addab Velusian
Addab is a Lightborn Warlock making him an anomaly in the world of magic. he is the first reported Lightborn to become a Warlock. This is rumored to be on account of his conversion to the Darkborn religion and possibly due to his father being a Darkborn.
Origins:
Little is known about Addab before his arrival in Paldor and the Dragonport incident when he and his band of soldiers arrived just in time to reinforce a surrounded Dragonport and bolster Azeron.
What is known, however, is that he was born in one of the northern islands and went to the Haliur magisterium when he was very young. He left there soon after receiving a prized scholarship, the reason why is unknown. though many suspect that on account of his strong opinions and violent temper coupled with his incredible ability to bind, he killed to many of his fellow professors in academic duels.

Addab asked and received the Tower (the remains of house Redalphin) in return for his timely intervention and immediately founded the first darkborn magisterium. His followers and graduated students shunned the traditional name of wizard and instead called themselves warlocks to signify their difference in focus (wizards focus on bonding as it does not come naturally to them).
Addab took up the mantle of Arch-mage and led the school in the five years before the Ironborn incident.
